Friction and Wear Test Machine

Friction and Wear Test Machine

The performance of tractor clutch linings can shift depending on temperature variations. Understanding the friction performance and wear rate of the lining at different temperatures is pivotal for assessing its performance and longevity.

The Importance of the Friction Test

The friction coefficient of the clutch lining can alter as temperatures fluctuate. These changes directly impact the overall performance of the clutch. Accurately measuring the friction coefficient and wear rate at various temperatures is crucial for the tractor's functionality.

Features and Application

  • The test measures and records the friction performance of the clutch lining at a constant RPM but at variable temperatures.
  • Starting from 100°C and proceeding through 150°C, 200°C, 250°C, and 300°C, the test graphically presents changes in the friction coefficient and records the wear rate.
  • All conditions defined for this test are stipulated in the JIS D 4411 standard.

Tradisk, adhering to the JIS D 4411 standard, conducts this friction test to precisely determine how the clutch linings will perform as temperatures vary.
